Project BackgroundCreating A World-Class Retirement App
Prudential was not a mobile or digital-first company and was getting killed in the app stores. Many large workplace retirement customers were lost. A team was put together to quickly redesign and relaunch the Prudential Retirement app to address the poor performance. Below are the results of that redesign.
We started by reworking the Information Architecture and key User Flows.
Next, we created detailed flows and prototypes for each interaction. We A/B tested copy and prompts to find the best “Calls-To-Action” that would help us meet our goals.
Once we had the RIGHT design. We got the design RIGHT in high fidelity.
Taking advantage of the native app platforms, we introduced native iOS and Android components to give users a familiar experience.

After the Initial phase, we put together detailed specs and style guides to help create further design features faster.
We continued to User test our app with customers and iterate based on feedback.
